Born and raised in Ohio and a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, Arthur Beeman has been practicing law for nearly 40 years. Art has been admitted as a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. He was named by the Daily Journal as among California’s “Top Ten Patent Lawyers” in that publication’s first-ever listing of the state’s top intellectual property lawyers. For multiple years, the publication Managing Intellectual Property has identified Art as an “IP Star,” recognizing his work on high-stakes matters throughout the United States.
The National Law Journal has featured his jury verdicts, while Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business described Art as an “outstandingly energetic and creative IP lawyer… (who) enjoys a national reputation.” Art has also been recognized multiple years in the Northern California Super Lawyer Magazine, as one of The Best Lawyers in America, and by Martindale-Hubbell as one of San Francisco’s Top AV-Rated Lawyers. Art served as managing partner of the Silicon Valley office for a global law firm.
Art is a proud family man. In his spare time, Art competes in trivia tournaments (he was a College Bowl champion at Northwestern University) and has dedicated himself to long-distance running for nearly 40 years.
